Marylee Ann Elliott, 73, of Eudora passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025 at Homestead of Eudora. A graveside service will take place May 24, 2025 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Tonganoxie, KS at 10:00 a.m.
Marylee was born on May 8, 1952 in Leavenworth, KS to Edward and Rosemary (Sieben) Bradford. She graduated from Lansing High School in 1970. Before her retirement, she worked in banking, from receptionist to Vice President over the course of her career at Wyandotte Bank, Bank Midwest, and First Community Bank in Kansas City, KS.
She experienced three great loves during her life: Woody Cauffield (m.1973), Bill Berry Sr. (m.1986), and Rex Elliott (m.2011). After many adventures and memories made living in Kansas City, McLouth, Lawrence, Yuma AZ, and Winter Haven FL, she spent her final years at Homestead of Eudora. She will be remembered for her love of sunflowers, red trucks, and collectables.
Marylee leaves behind a large extended family. Survivors include her sister Kim (John) Hysom, daughter Autumn (Mike) Eckman, son Paul Thies, step-children Bill (Cindy) Berry Jr., Lyla Hinsley, Allen Berry, Ashley Lynn, and Amanda Elliott, grandsons Ethan (Rylee) Eckman, Josh (Rochelle) Berry, Martin Hutfless, Brent (Jenny) Berry, Jim (Carah) Berry, Brett (Savannah) Hinsley, Ryan (Jesslynn) Thies, Adam (Brooke) Thies, Ryker Lynn, and Aiden Lieber, and granddaughters Lynda Hinsley, Katie (Mike) Bierle, Rachel Solwa, Riley Elliott, Remi Lynn, Emma Elliott, and Alaina Lieber, eleven great-grandchildren, plus many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marylee was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Rosemary, brother David Bradford, sister-in-law Gail Bradford, husband Bill Berry Sr., husband Rex Elliott, step-daughter Robin Hutfless, and step-son Jeremy Elliott.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marylee’s name to Ascend Hospice in Overland Park, KS and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
