Memorial service for Michael Thomas Foster, Sr., 72, Eudora will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Eudora, Kansas. He died on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 22, 1941 in Oak Park, IL the son of Lee R. and Rose (Kotzuk) Foster.
He worked as a Police Detective from 1966 until he was injured in 1983. He was a member of the Illinois Police Association and was a former Mason.
He married Gloria Buffa in October 28, 1961 in Berwyn, IL. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his children Barbara Jean Humphrey of Eudora; Michael Thomas Foster, Jr and his wife, Joanne of Illinois, Thomas Foster and his wife, Angela of Eudora, James Michael Foster of California, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials in his name to Michael Thomas Foster, Sr. Memorial Fund for the benefit of his grandchildren educational fund.
