Nadine Riley

Memorial services for Nadine L. Riley, 84, Eudora will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012 at North Lawrence Christian Church in Lawrence.  Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Topeka.  She died January 8, 2012 at her home.

Nadine was born on July 30, 1927 in Topeka, KS the daughter of William Jewell and Anna (Ayers) Northup.

She was a seamstress.  Her specialty was handmade draperies.

She married Ernest Riley in 1953.  They later divorced.

Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl Riley, Portland, OR, Janice Riley, Emporia, KS; one son, Mike Riley, Lawrence; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Rummel, Becky Downing, Jonathan Riley, Sarah Riley, Ona Greenberg, Ry Greenberg, Levi Yoho; and four great grandchildren, Gaige Devins, Harley Rummel, Joseph Downing, and Justin Downing.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to North Lawrence Christian Church or Health Care Access and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
