Nancy Dale

Funeral service for Nancy Bennett Dale, 70, Lawrence, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2009, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  She died Thursday, October 29, 2009, at her home.

Ms. Dale was born November 23, 1938, in Lawrence, KS the daughter of Delmer and Bessie (Broat) Bennett.

She graduated from Lawrence High school.  She worked at Lawrence Paper Company, the University of Kansas Computer Center, Honeywell, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a computer programmer/data systems analyst.

She is survived by a daughter, Joanne Kelly, Lawrence; a son, Alan, Lawrence; a sister, Barbara Best, Troy, MI; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Monday, November 2, at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, and sent in the care of the mortuary.
