Narji Brecheisen

Celebration of Life for Narji Brecheisen, 70, Eudora will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel.

Narji passed away on September 23, 2026, at LMH.

She was born November 6, 1955, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, the daughter of Harlan and Pearl (Dalton) Barrett.

She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and Mary Grimes School of Nursing. She worked for Lawrence Memorial Hospital as an RN in different departments for over 30 years. She also worked for the Eudora School District.

Narji loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and meeting people. She made jewelry and spent time in her garden. She loved taking the sweet corn and sharing it with the hospital staff. She rarely missed a sports activity or band concert for her grandchildren.

She married Mark Brecheisen on March 6, 1982.

He survives the home; she is also survived by her daughter, Bethany (Jonothan) Cluck and four grandchildren, Tristen (Emily), Ryan Ann (Luis), Jeromy, Piper and two great-grandchild, Ryan and Willow; her brother, Keneth (Lynn) Barrett and many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Ryan David Brecheisen and her parents.

The family suggests memorials in her name to Narji Brecheisen Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
