Opal Alexander, 94, Lawrence died December 17, 2021 at Medicalodges in Eudora.
Opal was born December 16, 1927 in Pineville, Kentucky the daughter of H.D. and Nancy Catherine (Wilder) Cox.
She married George Alexander in 1950 in Lawrence, KS. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2018.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Mary) Alexander of Lawrence and grandson, Oliver.
Memorial contributions may be made in Opal’s name to Interim Hospice Care and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 W. 13th St. Lawrence, KS 66044.
