Funeral Services for Patricia Louise Brooks, 81, Lawrence, KS are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, KS . Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, KS. Patricia passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Homestead of Eudora.
Patricia was born on December 4, 1940, in Coffeyville, KS, the daughter Walter Albert Gray and Lucy Bell (Newberry) Hoffaker.
She was a Medical Transcriptionist.
She married W. Russell Brooks on June 1, 1958, in Lawrence, KS. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Kari (Mike) Maiden, sons, David Brooks, Mark Brooks, three grandchildren, Ashley Maiden, Joshua Maiden, Keanu Weathersbee, sisters, Betty (Mike) Baker, Jeannette Bond, and Geri Jo Coffman.
Patricia was also preceded in death by her sister, Billie Ann Began.
