Patrick “Pat” M. France

Graveside services for Patrick “Pat” M. France, 72, Eudora will be held at 11 a.m. on November 23, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery in Eudora KS. He was able to be surrounded by those who loved him and peacefully passed on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 with his daughter at his side, hands embraced.

Pat was born April 10, 1947 in Buffalo, New York the son of Richard and Jeanne (Maher) France. Pat will be remembered as being a lover of donuts, having quite the imagination, a great sense of humor, and being a kid a heart. He always had stories, many of which were not true, but thought were funny. He recently told his daughter he was glad they could grow up together.

Survivors include his wife Cecelia who remains in New York; daughter, Jenna Collier (Jeremy) sisters; Mary Cole, Theresa Myers, Judith (France) Rase, Doris Hamilton, and Eunie Smith; grandchildren Kiloh McDowell, Jackson Dennis, Quinn Collier and Olivia Collier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Daniel Quinn France, and sister, L. Renee Kindall.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Elma CERT, Inc. (Elma NY, Community Emergency Response Team) and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
