Peggy Lou Schanze

Memorial services for Peggy Lou Schanze, 78, De Soto, KS, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel. She died Friday, December 6, 2013 at her home.
Peggy was born August 10, 1935 in Greenwood, MO the daughter of George W. & Nellie (Curtis) Kalousek.
She graduated from Lees’ Summit, MO high school.
Peggy had lived in De Soto since 2000.
She retired from JC Penny after working there for 31 years.
She was a member of the Overland Park Senior Art Counsel.
Survivors include one daughter, Penny Bogue; one son, Steve Macomber, and one granddaughter, Carissa Bogue.
The family suggests memorials in her name to the The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
