There are no services scheduled at this time for Phyllis J. Rhodes, 92, Lawrence. Phyllis passed away March 2, 2019 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Phyllis was born on November 7, 1926 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin Leslie and Gladys (Dietz) Taylor.
She married Warren Rhodes on July 28, 1946 in Emporia, Kansas. He preceded her in death along with a sister, Shirley Hart.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Larry) Eubanks, son, Kent (Kathe) Rhodes, sister, Katherine Hollar, grandchildren, Adrianne (Earl) Brynds, Matthew Eubanks, Mark (Kellie) Rhodes, Mardi Rhodes, Marshall Rhodes, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Alzheimer’s Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
