Piper Jean Crain

Funeral service for Piper Jean Crain, infant daughter of Nicholas Suyeo and Elise Marie Seely Crain, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. She was born and died May 20, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Piper is survived by her parents of Lawrence; big brother, Aydon Nicholas Crain, of the home; maternal grandparents, David & Debra Seely, Wichita; paternal grandparents, Gary Crain & Jody Harness, Overland Park, KS and Mary Beth Sakumura & Mark Harper Overland Park, KS; maternal great grandparents, Rev. Kenneth & Lois Short, Wichita and Arline Seely-Bensch & Larry Bensch Lawrence; paternal great grandparents, Joseph & Jean Sakumura, Lawrence; aunts and uncles, Matt Seely, Michael Seely, Michael Patch, Josh Crain, Amanda Crain and Jessie Schultheiss & Brad Schultheiss.
She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Gene Seely.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Piper Jean Crain Memorial fund and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
