Randall Lindsley Jordan

Randall Lindsley Jordan “Randy” of Lawrence Kansas passed away peacefully at home on Monday August 17, 2026 at age 76.

Randy was born on October 29, 1949 in Russell Kansas to Ralph and Barbara (Lindsley) Jordan. His brother Monte Gene Jordan was born in April 1953

Randy attended Russell schools and graduated from Russell High School with the class of 1967. He attended Kansas State University participating in the U.S. Army ROTC program and graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

Randy started his career with Koch Industries in Wichita, Kansas and he spent the entirety of his professional life in the gas, oil and energy industry. He retired from Oneok in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2011. He and his wife Vickie moved to Lawrence Kansas in 2016 to be closer to family.

In June of 1970, Randy married Victoria Steponick in Russell Kansas and they had two children Jamie Marie and Shane Randall. They divorced in 1979.

Randy married Vickie Keith in 1982 and welcomed her son, Britt Frey, into their family.

Randy enjoyed many outdoor pursuits including pheasant hunting with his dogs, elk hunting and fly fishing.

Randy is survived by his wife Vickie Jordan of Lawrence Kansas, children, Jamie (Adam) Gabriel of Lawrence Kansas, Shane (Laura) Jordan of Telluride Colorado, and Britt (Jihee) Frey of South Korea, As well as four grandchildren, Matthew Gabriel, Grace Gabriel, Simon Jordan and Eli Jordan

Randy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Russell Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. Private family services planned for a later date.
