Randy Paul Ketcham, 56, of Villa Park, passed away on May 4, 2026. Born on November 12, 1969, in Virginia Beach, Randy lived with deep faith, a quick wit, and a wholehearted love for family, music, and ministry.

Though born in Virginia, Randy spent his early years in Kansas before pursuing higher education at Johnson County Community College. There, he studied Graphic Design and worked in the printing industry for several years. In his mid-20s, Randy felt a calling to ministry and moved to Ohio to attend World Harvest Bible College, going on to serve as a Youth Pastor in Michigan, and Ohio. His deep knowledge of scripture and gift for ministry touched many, and he was often invited to serve on ministry teams, sharing his faith with passion and conviction.

Randy was also known for his strong work ethic and dedication throughout a successful career in corporate management, spending more than two decades in the coffee and refreshment industry. Whether in ministry or in business, Randy approached life with commitment, excellence, and heart.

What people will remember most, however, was Randy himself - his humor, his energy, and his ability to bring laughter wherever he went. A talented musician, he played bass and acoustic guitar on ministry teams and with a local oldies rock band in Ohio. He loved church softball, where he earned the nickname “Thumper,” and was a devoted fan of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the Kansas City Chiefs. Randy had a way of making people smile, and his quick wit, playful spirit, and infectious laughter left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Randy is survived by his children, Thomas Ketcham (Ellie) and Lizzy Dishman (Sawyer) along with their soon-to-be child, whom Randy eagerly awaited; his father, Charles Ketcham (Helen); his brothers, Kirk Ketcham (Dawn), Chuck Ketcham (Angela), and Tim Ketcham (Angie); his nieces, Olivia Ketcham, Avery Ketcham, Marissa Ketcham, Makayla Ketcham, Britnee Henson, and Ashlee Williams; his nephew, Bradley Ketcham; as well as many extended family members who cherished him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ketcham (née Wyatt), whose memory he carried close throughout his life.

Randy’s legacy of faith, humor, music, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
