Raymond T. Collins

Loving husband, father and grandfather passed away January 24, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House. Ray was born on July 22, 1935 to Albert H and Florence Collins in Kansas City, MO, where he lived until 2004 before moving to Lawrence, KS. He married Sondra Jean Gibbs on January 28, 1955. He worked in construction for 30 years and was a partner in Interstate Construction, Inc. He was a member of West Side Presbyterian Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife Sondra, three daughters (Rhonda Vincent, Stephanie Willis, and Elizabeth Giarratano), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, KC Hospice House, or West Side Presbyterian Church. Services will be held on January 27 at 11 A.M. at West Side Presbyterian Church
