Rene Zell

Graveside services for Rene Zell, 92, Lawrence, KS, will be held at a later date at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, NY.

She died Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Brandon Woods Retirement Community in Lawrence, KS.  She moved to Lawrence from Kissimmee, FL in 2000.

Mrs. Zell was born on November 19, 1916 in New York, NY, the daughter of Samuel and Clara (Ornstein) Horn.

She was married to Jesse Meyer and he preceded her in death in 1958.  She later married William Zell and he preceded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Hall, of Lawrence, KS; a son, Richard Zell of Homosassa Springs, FL; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
