Rhetta Jo Noever

Services for Rhetta Jo Noever, 84, Lawrence, will be held at a later date. Rhetta passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Brandon Woods. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.

Rhetta was born on January 4, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Kenneth B. and Mildred Viola (Lemon) Noever.

She was an administrator in the University of Kansas School of Business for over 40 years and was a Jayhawker through and through. Rhetta was an avid bridge player and she had great joy with the pets she owned over the years.

Survivors include her brother, Kenneth Richard Noever, Lawrence; cousins, Sheri Hamilton, Kansas City, MO and Sally Beeson, Plano, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rhetta’s name to KU Endowment or the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
