Rilla Mae Nixon

Graveside services for Rilla Mae Nixon, 90, Eudora will be held at 10:00, Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Eudora Cemetery. She passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Medicalodges Eudora.
She was born February 23, 1926 in Sugar Grove, Arkansas the daughter of Joe Simon and Luella (Smith) Wallace.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Eudora Assembly of God Church.
Rilla married Lawrence V. Nixon on April 19, 1945 in Booneville, AR. He proceeded her in death on May 9, 2008.
Survivors include two daughters, Rayna Hickman (Gary), Eudora, Cheryl Mark, Lawrence; son, Jon-Mark Nixon (Janet) Eudora; nine grandchildren, Kristi Burton, Peter Hickman, Betsy Crabill, Tracy Lubaczewski, Laura Hickock, Joe Mark, Joey Frost, Ashley Frost, and Tiffany Nixon and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Lawrence Nixon.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Eudora Assembly of God and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2016 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel in Eudora.
