Rita L. Bradley

Funeral services for Rita Bradley, 88, Lawrence, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. A Graveside Service will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, KS on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Please be aware that due to COVID-19 and safety precautions, we are asking people to respect and comply with social distancing and must wear a mask. Rita passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at her home.

Rita was born on March 29, 1932 in, Mapleton, KS, the daughter of David H. and Mattie (Miller) Vann.

Survivors include a canine companion, Zeke, and host of nieces and nephews.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, three brothers, and seven sisters.

Rita will be lying in state 10:00 a.m. ~ 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, KS.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rita’s name to The Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13 ^th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
