Robert “Bob” George Williams

Graveside services for Robert “Bob” George Williams, 66, Lawrence, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence. The family would ask that face masks be worn at the service. Bob passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Medicalodges Eudora.

Bob was born on September 30, 1955 in Lawrence the son of George L. and Louise (James) Williams.

He graduated from Lawrence High School and worked through Cottonwood and did various jobs.

He was a member of Free Methodist Church.

He married Karen Louise Cooper on April 3, 1977 in Lawrence. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his father, George L. Williams and his step-father Harry Brunelle, his Mother-in-law, Patricia Johnson and Step-father, Gene Johnson.

He is survived by his mother, Louise Brunelle, Alamo, TX. step-mother Sharon Williams, Topeka, KS. his brothers, Gary Williams (Sheri) of Topeka, Ks. Patrick Williams (Mary Jo) Overland Park, KS. Sister, Carri Casto (Scott) of Kimberling City, MO, sister- in -law, Claudia Jones (Michael) Lawrence, KS., brother-in -law Mike Cooper (Pam) Ft. Collins, CO. Step siblings, Greg Thompson (Toni), Bastrop TX. Lance Caulk (Tracey), Weatherford, TX. Renae Osburn (Brian) Wichita, KS., Staci Bush (John) Haysville, KS and several nieces and nephews.

Bob will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to Cottonwood Inc. and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
