Robert “Bob” Steven Schrick

Memorial services for Robert “Bob” Steven Schrick, 70, Linwood, will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, Kansas.  Bob passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at his home.

Bob was born on June 16, 1952, in Topeka, Kansas, the youngest son of Raymond Schrick and Ellen (Littleton) Schrick.  Bob graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1970.  He married Gloria Freeland on September 9, 1972.  Bob served in the Army National Guard for eight years beginning on July 15, 1976.  After his military service, Bob enjoyed a lifelong career in Information Technology.  He worked for the Postal Service and then finally the Department of Agriculture.

Bob enjoyed computers, technology, cars, travel, fishing, hunting, marksmanship, KU basketball, KC Chiefs football, gambling at casinos, tractors, gardening, and tending his land.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenneth Schrick.  He is survived by his wife Gloria, sons Steven Schrick and Jason Schrick, sister Patricia Dearmond, and grandchildren Sabine Schrick and Brighton Schrick.
