Robert Paul Zerwekh

Family services for Robert Paul Zerwekh, 84, Lawrence, will be held at a later date.  Robert passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at LMH Health.

Robert was born on February 25, 1939, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Robert J. and Beatrice Lewis Zerwekh.

He was a professor for the University of Kansas for 39 years in the Engineering Department.

He was a fantastic artist and had numerous art shows.

He married Marilyn Bevan on May 26, 1974, at Danforth Chapel in Lawrence, KS. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his four sons, Jeffrey Smith of Louisiana, Rob Zerwekh of Mission, KS, Richard Zerwekh of Lawrence, KS, Michael Zerwekh of Carlsbad, California: his sister, Emily Rosenak, Peoria, Illinios and a grandson, Everett Robert Zerwekh.

He was preceded in death his parents and his nephew, Jeff Bevan.

The family suggest memorials in Robert’s name to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to KU Endowment and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13 ^th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
