Robert Simmermon

Graveside services will be held for Robert Gene Simmermon, 84, Lawrence, at 11 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.  Robert passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his home.

Robert was born on January 30, 1938 in Shawnee, KS, the son of Eugene C. and Imogene (Andrews) Simmermon.

He served his country in the United States Air Force.

He was an accountant for many years.

He was a graduate of The University of Kansas and enjoyed WWII airplanes, liked watching the History Channel, and was an avid member of the Hy-Vee Coffee Crew who will miss him greatly.

He is survived by all his Hy-Vee Coffee Crew.

Memorial may be made in Robert’s name to a charity of donor’s choice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13 ^th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
