Ruby V. Freels

Graveside services for Ruby Virginia Freels, 79, Lawrence will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery. She passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at her home.

Ruby was born on October 16, 1940 in Lawrence, the daughter of James and Sarah (Hall) Stone.

She worked as a Vice President at Lawrence National Bank. She later worked for the State of Kansas.

She married Leon “Ray” Freels on October 18, 1958. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2016.

Survivors include her nephew, Raymond Stone, Lawrence, KS and niece, Beverly Tubbs, Kansas City, MO.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Lawrence Humane Society or VNA Hospice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13 ^th Street, Lawrence, KS 66006.
