Shawn Michael Lyles

Funeral services for Shawn Michael Lyles, 31, Lawrence will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Shawn passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Shawn was born June 29, 1984 in Topeka, KS, the son of Clark Leon and Tamara “Tammy” Lynn (Yarbro) Lyles.

He loved being with his family especially his kids, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his mother, Tammy, Eudora; father, Clark and stepmother, Angie Brown, Sedalia, MO; grandfather, Roger Yarbro; Great Grandmother, Lura Montgomery; his children, Christian Biberstein, Aquinnah Raab, Chaiden Lyles, Arianna Lyles; sisters, Dawn Lyles, Shanna Lyles, Brienn Young; brothers, Jacob Lyles, Madison Lyles; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ty Leon Lyles, grandmothers, Louise Yarbro, Georgella Lyles; and his grandfather, Clark Levion Lyles.

The family will greet friends from 3 – 5 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Shawn Lyles Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
