Stacy Williamson Keeling

May 22, 1955 — September 30, 2025

Lawrence

Stacy peacefully left her body on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Born May 22, 1955, in Ottawa, Kansas, Stacy attended Ottawa Senior High and the University of Kansas in Lawrence.

Stacy had zeal for adventure and living life to the fullest through amazing experiences-traveling abroad, moving to the west and living and playing in the mountains of Bozeman Montana, climbing mountains with her family in Silverton, Colorado, singing and dancing to the music of her youth with her friends, dogs, and family all her life, cooking and making new recipes, and enjoying the great outdoors as far as her spirit would carry her.

Stacy shared her soul endlessly with those she met and passed on her love and purpose of helping and taking care of others to her children. Being a mom was her greatest success and with a deeply profound love, she practiced being the person who she wanted to be. Our memories exist in a timeless place.

Stacy loved her family and friends. Her daughter, Gina Skinner; brother Steve Williamson and brother Jim Williamson (Kathryn), as well as nephews, nieces, cousins and friends miss her dearly. She was proceeded in death by daughter Jamie Skinner, and mother and father Charles and Lorena Williamson.

The family suggests memorials to Prairie Paws in Ottawa or the Lawrence Humane Society in Lawrence and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
