Thomas Moore

A Celebration of Life for Thomas Matthew Moore, 56, will be announced at www.twangdaddies.com. He died on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at his home.

He was born on November 9, 1953 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Robert J. & Marna Brewer Moore. He attended Lawrence Schools and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Radio/TV/Film.

Matthew was a lifelong lover of music, he sang with several bands and D.J.’ed.  He spent several years in New Orleans.  He was a music aficionado and an avid KU sports fan.  He was fondly known as the Olde Hip-Eye.

He is survived by his parents of Lawrence, a sister, Melonie Sullivan, of Lawrence, and a brother, Martin W. Moore, of Lawrence.

The family suggests memorials in his name to the charity of the donor’s choice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
