A Funeral Service for Timothy Patrick Moran, 37, of Eudora, KS, is set for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Eudora, KS, with a visitation from 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM, Monday, November 24, 2025, also at the mortuary in Eudora. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Blaine, KS. Timothy passed away on November 17, 2025, in an automobile accident in Oklahoma.
Tim was born on April 15, 1988, in Topeka, KS, the son of Thomas Paul and Sherry Lynn (McAlexander) Moran.
Tim married Jacquelyn Ann Sheredy on October 7, 2023, in Eudora, KS on their family farm.
Other survivors include his brother, Sean Moran, sister, Ashley (Jeff) Rickard, maternal grandparents, Cleo & Darlene McAlexander, niece, Lucy Rickard, nephew, John Rickard, mother-in-law, Roberta Mulraney, father-in-law, John Sheredy Sr., brothers-in-law, John Sheredy Jr., Anthony Sheredy, sister-in-law, Madison Sheredy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Basil & Elizabeth Moran, maternal grandmother, Sandra (Myers) McAlexander, sister-in-law, Mandy Sheredy, and Shannon Meadows-Moran.
Tim graduated from Eudora High School in 2006. He was a member of the Eudora 4H club for 13 years. Tim was also a graduate of Kansas University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While attending college, Tim was an integral part of the school’s formula car team – Jayhawk Motorsports. He loved working with animals, and especially loved working on the farm. Tim found joy in many hobbies including woodworking, welding, trap shooting, basketball, softball, football and anything outdoors.
Tim spent the last 14 years traveling the country working for Kiewit Power Constructors as a Mechanical Equipment Superintendent. He was a subject matter expert in his trade and built over a dozen turbines during his career.
Tim and Jackie met in 2020 in Ohio while working together on a power plant. They moved to Eudora, KS in 2021 where they settled down at Tim’s childhood home. Together, they enjoyed farming and raising livestock. Tim was happiest when he was working with his hands, fixing things around the farm, and spending time with family. His favorite toys were his Ford tractors that were handed down to him from his father and grandfather before him.
Memorial contributions in Timothy’s name may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Youth Group in Duluth, KS and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
