Graveside service for Virgil J. “Skee” Lewis, 61, Eudora, will held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2020 at Eudora Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, please be mindful of social distancing guidelines if planning to attend the graveside service. Skee passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home.
Skee was born on August 6, 1958 in De Soto, Kansas the son of Virgil and Stella (Sams) Lewis.
Most of his life he loved motorcycle riding and motorcross. He always enjoyed Western’s especially John Wayne, he enjoyed coaching and watching Little League Baseball. His grandchildren were always his top priority.
He was a truck driver for the majority of his life.
He married Rhetta Miller on January 27, 1997 in Lawrence, KS. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his sons, Brandon Lewis (Jerri Harris), Caleb (Kristen) Lewis, Josh Lewis all of Eudora, KS, Martin (Jenny) Dunavin of Wilsonville, OR; daughter, Melody (Steve) Buchholz of Eudora, KS; many siblings; ten grandchildren, Graci, Isaac, Sebastian, Lily, Rainey, Grant, Bella, Addi, Isla and Landen.
