Wendy Laxton

Graveside service for Wendy Michelle Laxton, 43, Lawrence will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 at Memorial Park Mausoleum.  She died March 30, 2013 at her home.

She was born on February 15, 1970 in Jacksonville, FL the daughter of Herbert W. Laxton and Shirley Jean White.

Wendy was a homemaker.

Survivors include her father, Herbert “Bill” Laxton and wife, Sandy, Kansas City, KS; mother, Shirley O’Dell, Texas; two daughters, Misty Rivera-Zapata and husband, Miguel, Lawrence, Memorie Hall, Lawrence; two sons, William “Bubba” Laxton and wife, Taylor Solwa, Lawrence, Chance Rivera, Lawrence; brothers, Herbert W. Laxton, and wife, Amanda, Bonner Springs, KS; Sister, Angela Joy Laxton, Texas; Many nieces and nephews, including Sara Michelle Laxton; eight grandchildren, Jacinda, Jaden, Skilynn, Nevaeha, Yadira, Ella, William, Arianna.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Wendy Laxton Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
