Graveside services for William “Bill” K. Wray, 70, Lawrence will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, KS. He passed away May 20, 2015 at his home.
Bill was born December 7, 1944 in Winchester, KS the son of James Perry and Velma (Orr) Wray.
He served his country in the United States Navy.
He was a union carpenter and a maintenance carpenter for the University of Kansas.
He married Jane Miracle. They later divorced.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Wray; three grandchildren, Sam Mayo, Cruz Chino, Layla Chino; and one sister, Carole Frederick.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 28, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
