Memorial service for Wilma “Lee” Wilson, 86, Lawrence will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Lee passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at LMH Health.
Lee was born on April 7, 1933, in Plainville, Kansas, the daughter of Ellery and Esther (Blauer) Taylor.
Survivors include her daughters, Jolene Haehl and Jackie (Craig) Sundell; sister, Ruth Starkey and grandson, Nick (Whitney) Haehl.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Wilson Jr., parents and granddaughter, Christa Haehl,
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in her name to Lawrence School Foundation (Lee Wilson), 110 McDonald Drive, Lawrence, KS, 66044 or may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
