Zelia Ann Bryant

Zelia Ann Bryant, 61, of Oskaloosa, Kansas passed away on February 22, 2026, at FW Huston Senior Living Center in Winchester.

A Funeral Service for Zelia is set for Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary; 120 W 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.

Zelia was born on January 31, 1965, in Lawrence, Kansas to Raymond and Nancie (Hipsher) Bryant. They both preceded her in death.

She attended and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1983. She loved running track and playing softball.

Zelia worked several jobs over her lifetime. Her passion and favorite was as a self-employed photographer. She worked in a portrait studio for years and loved taking graduation photos and wedding pictures on the side. One of her passions was working in her flowers beds especially with her Irises.

Other survivors include her siblings; Tina (Ron) Bates, and Mike (Carla) Bryant. Nieces and Nephews; Kelsey Bates, Cameron (Lydia) Bryant, Jarrod (Erin) Bates, Brenna (Ryan) Kaufman, Dalton Bryant, Addison Bryant, and Connor Bryant. Great Nieces and Nephews; Bristol, Leo, Crew, Teddy, Blake, Ridge, Westin, and Kendall and Great-great Niece; Blakelyn.

The family suggests memorials in Zelia’s name to FW Huston Senior Living Center Activity Fund or to Jefferson County Hospice.
